It's a story as old as, well, 8-bit video gaming itself: man creates robots, 99 percent go rogue, the other 1 percent valiantly fights back and future world order is (temporarily) restored. Sound familiar? It should if you've logged any time with
Mega Man X, Capcom's mega-popular series from console gaming's halcyon days. That
SNES classic has just been ported over to iOS and is now available on the App Store for your thumb-smashing amusement. At $5 it's certainly cheaper than that
other recent 16-bit retread, though nowhere near as awesomely epic.
