I will like to be brokering auto insurance for limo drivers, black car, livery etc type of insurance. I would like to get info on how to go about to get started. There is only one or two carriers that write black car service in NY and all of the cars are already insured by them. The way to get started would be to get licensed. To take the exam I used ExamFx's online program. To get training you have to work for someone as a producer. Broker in NYC? its nice business tho, they all renew in march and you issue all the binders and youre done! they average 3k-5k right now. there are 3 major black car insurance i know of. 2 people can handlike like a big book of 300-400 clients. its like tax season though when renewals come around ------------------------------------ ?
