Windows: Windows Explorer is far from the most advanced file browser out there, and Windows has lots of other options. One of the best, XYplorer, is available for free today only, down from its usual price of $US30.
XYplorer isn?t our favourite alternative file browser, but it?s fast, lightweight and far better than the default Windows Explorer. It also has tabbed browsing, lots of custom keyboard shortcuts and UI tweaks, powerful search and detailed file info. It?s not bad for a $US30 program, but it?s unbeatable as a free download, which it is for today. If you?ve ever wanted to try an alternative file manager, this is an opportunity you should take.
