12:30 PM: Former Penn State football recruit Zayd Issah was arrested early Saturday morning on charges of aggravated assault, marijuana possession & resisting arrest. A State College officer was reportedly injured during the pursuit of Issah.

7:45 PM: Former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka says that Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is the "best QB in football": "I like what he does, and I like his leadership qualities .... He has to be the guy in charge. And the team has to know it."

7:30 PM: Sebastien Bourdais received a second-place trophy at Saturday's IndyCar race in Toronto, but the crystal trophy broke from its base when he tried to lift it up. An undeterred Bourdais still held up the empty base while on the podium.

7:15 PM: Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports Alex Rodriguez did not show up for his Friday rehab game with the Single-A Tampa Yankees. Rodriguez met with MLB officials in Tampa about his connection to Biogenesis, but was given enough time to attend the game.

7:00 PM: Florida Gators QB Jeff Driskel spent part of his offseason hunting wild hogs: "We tried to sneak up on it and it heard us, so I just ran as far as I could, waited for it stop, kneeled down and I dropped it in the puddle of water it was running through. That was real exciting."

6:45 PM: St. Paul Saints owner Mike Veeck & St. Paul mayor Chris Coleman took swings with a baseball bat sledgehammer Saturday to mark the start of building demolition to build a new ballpark.

6:30 PM: A six-year-old boy is in the hospital in critical condition after being trapped for 3 1/2 hours under a collapsed sand dune at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Officials believe the boy was able to stay alive due to an air pocket trapped with him.

6:15 PM: A memorial service was held Friday for Nicholas Kim, a 17-year-old Norcross (Georgia) High School football player who died Wednesday after battling cell sarcoma cancer. Although he couldn't play, Kim was with the team when Norcross won the Class 6A state title in December.

6:00 PM: A man attending a Kid Rock concert in Darien Lake, New York last Friday was beaten into a coma by another man who is facing third-degree assault charges. A donor under the game "Kid Rock" gave $5,000 to the online donation page set up for beating victim Jason McNeil.
