Predicting the 2013 SEC Football Season: Ole Miss

With less than 60 days until the college football season begins, it's never too early to look at the 2013 football schedules and make wild blind predictions.

The eighth in a series leading up to fall camps brings us to the Rebel Bears or the Black Bear Rebels or whatever they are calling themselves these days:

Ole Mississippi Admiral Ackbar Rebel Black Bears 7-6 (3-5) in 2012

Synopsis:There seems to be a lot of excitement surrounding this program with their improved play and shockingly successful recruiting. Is it justified? Is it a trap? Granted the Rebs signed some exciting young players but can it translate to wins on the field in 2013? Remember they still finished 7-6 last year including a home thrashing (66-31) by a mediocre Texas team. Furthermore, the seven wins came over C. Arkansas, UTEP, Tulane, Auburn, Arkansas, Miss. St, and Pitt.
For all of Hugh Freeze's recruiting, he still has some pretty big holes in the defensive backfield, guard, tight end, and both kickers have graduated. This Ole Miss team has potential but there is a vast lack of experience and depth.
