Anderson Cooper: Gay and Proud

TV anchor/talk show host Anderson Cooper has revealed that he is gay and he is proud to be a gay man. Cooper has always been the seemingly single guy throughout his career and that caused many to speculate about whether or not he was gay. Anderson has always been a very private person, which only added fuel to the fire so to speak. However in a recent email interview with his long-time friend Andrew Sullivan, who works for The Daily Beast, he admitted to being gay. The conversation began when Sullivan asked Copper his thoughts on a recent cover story by Entertainment Weekly, which talked about how gay people in the public eye are coming out in a much more understated and matter of fact ways.
